The Knicks deserved credit for showing up tough in the final game before the All Star break, with Jose Alvarado bringing edge and the whole team playing more physical, more direct, and way less whiny. But the bigger question is the one Knicks fans have been living with all season: this team looks capable of being great, and also capable of the most annoying letdown losses imaginable.
