The two then get into a discussion about Michael's graduate school thesis (read here) on East Potomac. Upon opening, the reversible Walter Travis design became one of the nation's most popular and greatest municipal golf facilities. Today, it's a shell of its original self but has an opportunity (thanks to an upcoming change in management) that will allow for capital improvements.
